Progressus Community is seeking the views of the community to help develop appropriate social prescribing activities in Rugby, Warwickshire, to support improved well-being. There are many different models for social prescribing. Our projects are lead by experienced link workers and support participants to engage in activities that seek to improve mental well-being.
We'd be grateful if you can take a few minutes to complete our survey. This survey is aimed at people over 18.
Connecting on Canals is a community based project that offers the opportunity for people to come together and experience the joy of spending a day on a narrow boat. Being outdoors and enjoying the natural environment is known to increase a sense of well-being. During the day, community members will learn new skills and participate in a community activity, all whilst being gently active.
Progressus Community CIC can accommodate up to 10 people on each community day, and run 10 community days between April and September 2025. If you would like your community group to participate in Connecting on Canals, please contact Progressus Community CIC for further information.
Progressus Community is delighted to be partnering with our friends at Urban & Civic to offer The Great Houlton Walk! Join us on Saturday 23rd September to learn more about the open spaces in Houlton by way of having a community walk. There will be opportunities to meet new people, learn new skills and be as physically active as you feel able!
Dads Now is a short group intervention aimed at dads and dads-to-be that seeks to better include fathers in their children's lives in a positive and meaningful way.

Future Men is secretariat of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Fatherhood. The APPG is a cross-party group of MPs and Peers. Its aim is to help to promote the wellbeing of children by ensuring that legal and policy frameworks keep up with the changing nature of family life, and that legislation encourages active and responsible fatherhood.
